Polterpup pattern by AncientDragoness Polterpup pattern by AncientDragoness
UPDATE: pattern for new Polterpup: dragoness243.deviantart.com/ar…

Posted since I had a few requests here and on Tumblr. Free to use!

VERY IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ: The image is not set up for printing. You'll have to draw out the pattern yourself. That's why I put in a picture of my physical copy, to give you a better estimate of size, etc.

Above is a photo of the pieces of pattern themselves, and below a tracing. Of course, it may be a bit off, since I adjusted the edges a bit while sewing, seen in the inner mouth pieces as well as the neck part of the belly piece. I freehand all my patterns (if you couldn't tell), first sketching the character/animal/whatever in profile/frontal view and superimposing the seams onto it.

The pointy bit that looks like it is going to be his chin is to be sewn together only on the small edge. The bottom edge of the whole piece attaches to the neck, while the top is attached to the curved  end of one of the half moon looking pieces. This is important.

I used a ladder stitch to attach the head to the neck, but the seam is easily covered by the collar.

I made the belly piece by duplicating the legs bit, as seen in this tutorial: isismasshiro.deviantart.com/ar… I strongly recommend doing so yourself, since my tracing here might be a bit off as well. It's actually perfectly symmetrical, but the tracing is probably not. Obviously ^^;

The one I made is ~17 inches from nose to tail tip, and roughly 10 inches tall, from paws to the top of his head. Just an estimate, I can't remember my measurements off hand.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Anyone who makes one, link back! I wanna see!

Why can't I print it? If it's only because of the size, I can either put one part/A4 paper or then have a mini-Polterpup.

The pieces aren't set up in the file to be their normal size.
If you wanted to scale it, it might not turn out as designed...
